General
The data is stored in SAP Business One, while documents and files are located in the cks-archive database defined by you. These data are mirrored in the data center to ensure high availability.
Basically, you can grant access to b1direct to all users* stored in SAP Business One. Access to data and documents is restricted based on the configured permissions in SAP Business One. Additional SAP Business One Indirect Access, user-based licenses may be required.
The setup and configuration of the basic add-on cks.DIGITAL 4.0 and the module management cks.COCKPIT will take about one day. If additional databases are to be connected, another 4 hours will be charged per database.
We will soon provide a demo/test environment where you can test and present b1direct.
Correct. But they must be enabled for this in the business partner master data. Note: An SAP Business One Indirect Access, non-employee license may be necessary.
iSystems operates data centers in both North America and Europe. Data from companies based in the EU is mirrored to a data center in Germany.
Licenses
b1direct is multi-client capable, and the license extends across all clients. Each client then has its own interface with its own access.
Employees have access to data and documents across business partners according to their permissions in SAP Business One. Access to data and documents is restricted for a customer to the business partner they are assigned to as a contact.
Starter users are treated like regular licenses.

The Remarks field is optional and does not need to be filled.

For product images, you can use PNG and JPG. PDFs can be used for additional information.
Basically, we use the data available in the SAP Business One standard.
b1direct uses the price list defined in the user configurations. The discounts and graduated prices of the base prices are applied. If necessary, the price logic can be customized.
b1direct generates a preliminary invoice and a payment receipt. The basis is this workflow: Quote → Customer Order → Preliminary Invoice → Payment Receipt → Delivery
At the item level, there is a UDF that controls the release for the b1direct showroom.
Using UDFs, items can also be made visible only to certain business partners.
In the configuration, you can specify whether and how non-stock items can be displayed and ordered.
Any fees incurred for payment processing are typically borne by the payment recipient.
Item data is available as a mirror in the data center. If a change occurs on either side (original SAP Business One or mirrored data in b1direct), the corresponding data is re-synchronized. Item images are stored as thumbnails in b1direct and loaded live from the original SAP Business One when the item is called.
Initially, the color scheme, layout images, and the content of the homepage and categories can be customized to the respective wishes. In the future, various templates will be available for selection. Basically, the template is based on the Google Material Design framework and can thus be fully customized.

Customers can upload/download archive documents (related or unrelated) via Document Manager or a specific document (e.g., uploading an archive to a Sales Quotation).
Customers can add and edit shipping or billing addresses according to the configuration in SAP Business One.
There will be roles and permissions for customer contacts that can be individually configured. Currently still in development. There are currently no restrictions.
If a tracking number and a shipping service provider are filled in the designated fields in SAP Business One, they will also be made available to the customer online in b1direct. With the extra module, it is possible to connect b1direct to the DHL interface.
Currently, only Stripe can be integrated as a payment processor. However, an individual connection to your preferred provider can be commissioned.
The data from SAP Business One is also stored in the data center to ensure high availability. This storage space is limited. For orientation: The smallest version of b1direct includes 8GB of data volume. For orientation: 1GB ≈ 150,000 SAP documents or 300,000 business partners or 1,000,000 service calls.
In principle, the inclusion of additional fields in the forms can be ordered.
